DraftDodger (1310) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2017
Copenhagen 2/2 2017. 50 cl bottle from Giftbox in SuperBrugsen. Quite typical Czech label with some heraldic stuff, a shield and a lot of gold. Pours clear yellow with big white head. Settles as stable 1 cm thick layer of foam. Aroma of sweet malts with salty hints and a little bitterness. Not very intense but pleasant enough. Quite strong carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by more dominant bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. A quite generic Czech pilsner, which does not mean it’s bad - but that it is rather predictable.

Bottle, shared with my dad. Clear medium gold, average white head. Pretty much by the numbers for a Czech pils, although I prefer a little more attenuation and a little more hoppy bite. Tame, clean.

Bottles with a wonderful meal in Benesov. On the road with Viktoria Zizkov. Very nice Svetle. Grassy, full bodied and with a nice bitterness attached.

The beer pours a golden colour with good head and even lace. Taste is of grass, cereals and a slight metallic taste, overall Not up with Fullers but pretty good
