BelgiskOlklub (1083) - Viby J, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2011
On tap at Ferdinanda, Prague. Clear golden yellow body and a large rocky lasting white head. Aroma of cereal, hay, floral, grass. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter. medium body, oily feel, average carbonation. Nice bitter finish.

[9/22/11] Mahleket Hanikot Shotrim ’11 tour. Bottle at Rex Pizzeria in Malmo. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma has a bit of hay, a bit of maltiness and somewhat herbal hoppiness. Sweetish grainy flavor and a slightly drier finish with some bitterness. Light-medium-bodied.

Pours nearly no head, the body is very light yellow. No much taste at all actually. Light bitter. Typical rusty lager aftertaste. Bad palate, watery and rusty.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2011 Flat out bitter beer and I love it. Very fresh (mid-June 2011). Aroma is a more subtle flower/pepper/hers variety but the flavor is intensely bitter. Not so much bread, not such a huge body, a giganticaly grassy bitter flavor playground in your mouth. Good head and body, not so big, oily. From Piwoteka.

Keg (Vltava, Helsinki)
5 Crainy, a little dull, slight breadiness
3- Pale orange, large tight white head.
5 SImple full-bodied lager, a little plasticky.
2 Thinnish body, crisp carbonation. Finish quite simple - a little plasticky again, and then it’s nothing.
10 Fairly solid pale lager.

kozyk (23) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 26, 2010
gold colour, this lager from Benesov, is sweet - bitter with bitter end, on tap you can have never ending nice foam, too hard for me, but good

On tap. I pretty like it. Pleasant aroma and taste, mildly bitter and great color.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of herbal hops, grainy malt with a biscuit touch. Dry and hoppy flavour, medium bitter.

I had this at the Istanbul Restaurant in Trelleborg, Sweden. Is is available through Systembologet. It is a special order item. It is not in there catalog or on line. There is also a 1 case,(20 bottles), minimum order. Pours a golden bronze with a large foamy head. The head eventually goes to a thick lace and will be there to the end. One of those heads that mark on the side of the glass after every swallow. Aroma is a bit hop and floral with a bit of sweet. Flavor is hop, bit of caramel and spice. Crisp. Finish is a light bitter hop and alcohol. As far as a bottled Czech beer goes; it’s better than most. Overall it is just okay, nothing special. If you like Czech beer and have not tried it, I recommend you do so.
