Draught at Ferdinand Monarchia in Budapest, Hungary.faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 23, 2007
Dark reddish brown colour with small white head.
Yeasty, dry woody, nutty and malty aroma.
Dry mild hoppy bitterness in flavour. Not my favourite but still quite drinkable. Soft carbonation.
Bottle. Darkish amber colour with a mostlylasting light brownish head. Sweet aroma of dark malts with caramel. Flavour is sweet, toasted malts, caramel with bitter hops. A bit thin but good beer. pivnizub (10616) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 19, 2006
Bottle: Amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, slowly diminishing; sweet-malty, caramelly nose with a tinge of herbal hops; sweetish flavour, medium ti full bodied; first sweet-malty finish, later a slightly bitter aftertaste. Well drinkable !
Why is this beer called "Seven bullets" (Sedm kuli) ? The austrian heir to the throne Ferdinand d’Este, who lived to the year 1914 near Benesov, was killed in Sarajevo by seven bullets. This was the beginning of WW I ! allmyvinyl (10613) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 17, 2014

Draught at Ferdinanda, Praha
Clear dark brown color, fluffy tan head. Sweet roasted malty scent. Smooth sweet malty caramel taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Malty dry aftertaste.
Draught at Prague Beer Museum on June 5, 2011
Hazy copper color, fluffy off-white head. Spicy and acidic scent, a bit sour. Malty but sour rasre, I don’t think this is OK. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Won’t let this rating push down the previous, since this beer must have gone bad at this place, or else served out of an old keg or similar.
Tap at U Kuntastatu. Glowing, cler a,ber. Medium, mfinehed. Fruity, caramel mose, dry and bredy. Sweet flavor, caramel malts, earthy hops. Grass, herbs. Not too sweet, but a bit of brown sugar. Decent. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2008
Dark amber with a moderate head. The aroma is very malty and the flavour is sweetish and malty with light notes of caramel and licorice. The finish is dry and rather bitter. Initially it was so sweet that I almost poured it down the drain, but after a few mouthful it became better, and it actually have something to offer. JorisPPattyn (10001) - Ursel, BELGIUM - FEB 20, 2004
Brilliant ruby-chestnut; slim white rim. Nose with bread, sweet like Marssala or other dark dessert wine, definitely vinous. Taste again bready and very faintly vinous. Finish is bitterish, rather metallic. Maybe rather Balsamico than wine. Medium body, bit watery at the end. Not bad. I wonder whence the name ("seven bullets", thanks motelpogo). It's certainly not seded with diacetyl, what I fear most from imported Czech stuff. 77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 31, 2016
(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft @ one of Pivnaya №1 establishments. Dark amber, cough syrup, creamy tanned head. Nose is skunk, rotting wet leaves, bad spoiled, low feces. Taste is sickening cough syrup, spoiled milk, leaves medicinal, sough syrup, feces. Creamy rotting leaves body. I suspect that the keg went bad, this isn’t normal.
