Bottle. Beautiful ruby color with off-white head. Aroma is caramel, nutty, pale malts, a touch buttery. Taste is caramel malts and pale malts in the Polotmavy-typical mix, nutty, herbal hops. Buttery, sweetish fudge finish. Medium carbonation. Tasty, moreish, and drinkable, like a Polotmavy should be! Gurthnar (6197) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - FEB 13, 2012

Poured a dark brown-red colour with a medium sized beige head that went away slowly. Grainy nose, notes of caramel and raisins. The taste isn’t far off, being grainy, caramelly and sweetish... dark malts. Not all that hoppy...almost at all. Says it’s brewed with some herbs but there’s nothing that would reveal their presence except (in my mind) maybe for a vague, just kinda herbal chalkiness. It’s still a good dunkel or vienna, not too sweet.
Bottle. Dark amber colour with a off-white head. Light sweet Malty caramel aroma and a sweet thin taste. Light body and a sweet finish.
