0.5L bottle. Pouts clear brown with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of bready and cereal malt as well as fruit notes. Sweet up front, tasting of dark fruit, raisin and plums, as well as sherry (deconcoction mash?). Middle is dry from hop bitterness, and this falls off quickly leaving a sweet film in the back of the throat. Medium-full body with a slick texture and average carbonation. Overall, a relatively sweet beer that offers some interesting malt complexity. mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 4, 2014
On tap, vegalite, 30czk/0.5l. Clear dark amber body wit high creamy head. Aroma is light caramel, licorice, dark fruits, plums. Taste has high earthy bitterness, medium caramel sweetness, herb like after taste. Body is full, high carbonation. Nice. MarkoNm (2740) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - AUG 27, 2014
Pours a coppery color, clear, topped with about a finger of tan colored frothy head. Malty aroma, some fruity and caramel notes as well, slight soury smell too. The taste is quite bittery, slightly metallic and herbal. Nice and easily drinkable. Vincent68 (679) - Nitra, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 19, 2015
Smak: raczej słodkawe, palone i lekko karmelowe.
Odczucie w ustach: wysycenie na średnim poziomie, wyraźna gorycz chmielowa (może ziołowa), ale nie męczy a wręcz fajnie balansuje smak.
Ogólnie: smaczny, bursztynowy lagerek.

0,5l bottle. Clear deep copper colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma: Caramel, dough with light booze notes. Taste: Has a quite sweet malty start with tarty (bit winey) caracters and a decent hoppy mouthfeel. Quite balanced. Medium body with medium carbonation. Long but pleasent bitter finish. This a very good polotmavy best from the style so far. Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - JUL 6, 2003
Bottled.Deep amber colour with red hue, big burnt sugar flavour. I’ve had this style before and liked it. It takes a little bit of time to get into but then you begin to enjoy it after a while. Long palate and flavour, the develops in the mouth. Didn’t taste anything like 13%....b/c that was the degrees plato. Thanx Rauchbier. iwantalambic (1478) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 21, 2003
Pours a light orange brown, clowdy islands of head float atop. . . deep sticky hazelnut malt aroma, that has a sweet component like cherry oak. . . acidic palate that has metallic notes and good spice, but overall a bit thin. Malty flavour is present in the finish with some thin airy caramel and syrup. Lingering hoppiness leaves a nice taste and saves this one for me. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 28, 2005
Deep amber colour with fairly big off white head. Malty aroma with caramel sweetness. Flavor has a lot of caramel sweetness and a hoppy bitter finish. Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - SEP 25, 2005
Amber colour, and a real fine big head. Not much aroma. Flavor is a bit funny, some czechish-notes, mixed with some acidity.
