Red-amber. Raisiny, slightly grassy aroma. Sweetish start, some crystal malt character. Dryer finish with low bitterness.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel. Pours a pretty, clear red amber with a smallish fluffy off white head. Aroma has lots of caramel, lightly roasted and a apple scent in the back. Nice, regular Vienna mouthfeel, not too watery nor too full. Malty caramel flavours dominate with a toffee twist as well as a dry roasted hoppy finish.

Bottle. A nice, clear, brown beer with a slightly small, beige head. Caramel, some roasted notes, dried fruits and a vague note of cooked vegetables. Nice, slightly roasted flavor. Pleasant flavor of fresh fruits as well. The bitterness is quite subdued, and is mostly there in the finish. Medum fullness with a pleasant level of carbonation. A truly quaffable beer, combining roasted malt and fruityness in a nice way. (071215)

(Draught at Ferdinanda, Prague, 23 July 2008) Dark ruby colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, toasty nose with spicy hints of wild berries. Malty, spicy taste with notes of wild berries, caramel and spicy hops in the finish. Medium body, rather sweet. Interesting and drinkable.

0.5l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!)
Poured a dark brown-red colour with a medium sized beige head that went away slowly. Grainy nose, notes of caramel and raisins. The taste isn’t far off, being grainy, caramelly and sweetish... dark malts. Not all that hoppy...almost at all. Says it’s brewed with some herbs but there’s nothing that would reveal their presence except (in my mind) maybe for a vague, just kinda herbal chalkiness. It’s still a good dunkel or vienna, not too sweet.

Czech beer that actually has some flavor. It’s a bit bitter, malty and a bit hoppy. The yeast is present as well. Decent.
