On tap at the source with blonderedhead. 16oz pour. Coffee black in color with assertive tan head and quality lacing. Nose is beautiful fresh brewed coffee with an impressive roasty, nutty characteristic. Taste is really smooth and delicious. For a non coffee drinker this almost makes me want to start the habit. Roasty and malty with a bitter finish. Almost picking up peanut butter and chocolate to some degree. I'm a definite fan. Maybe their best outside of Double Shot. gopherfan99 (2000) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2017
Sample Cap Untapped; pours black with a tan head; strong coffee aroma with some hints of roasted malt and maybe a little chocolate; taste is lightly bitter roasted coffee with some roasted malt and chocolate notes; dry, roasty finish with some lingering coffee. northropfrye (3750) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 25, 2017

St Paul, Mn - The Wine Thief & Ale Jail - 12 oz can. Pitch black pour, sticky, mocha colored head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma has some nice chocolate accents and a touch of bitter chocolate. Rich flavor that matches the aroma with the coffee and chocolate notes. Hints of marshmallows and licorice in the back end. Thick enough mouthfeel.

Poured a medium brown with a beige head. Aroma was of cold. Tewed coffee and loght chocolate. Flacor similar, underlying beer seems a little hollow and lost, but overall decent. Nsanders (1194) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - FEB 18, 2017
Black with a light brown head. Nutty coffee, roasted malt, malt powder, unsweetened chocolate and slight alcohol aroma. Light malty sweetness followed by a medium coffee bitterness. Heavy body with an oily feel. Ataraxia (590) - California, USA - DEC 7, 2016
Dark brown color, moderate light beige head. Coffee, caramel, toasted malt. Light sweetness and grows more bitter. Barely medium bodied and moderately carbed. Lingering bitter finish. vandc01 (464) - North Branch, USA - NOV 5, 2016
12oz can poured at home.
I am not a huge coffee ale drinker, but this is a top notch coffee beer
Nice roasty coffee aroma - very enjoyable. tedovertu (298) - Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA - OCT 26, 2016
Taste is a little bland. Not much going on. Beautiful looking brand beer. Dark color with a beautiful tan head. Not much coffee taste.
