Tap at Bent River on Nov. 26, 2011. Orange pour with a smaller white head. Aroma and taste of earthy and pine hops. Decent. 3fourths (9341) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 31, 2007
Slightly hazy amber orange color. Fresh, oily and wet hops, lightly floral and piney with some sweet orange notes as well from a slight presence of some caramel malt. Essentially the same thing as SNPA. drowland (8676) - Georgia, USA - AUG 21, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2010 Have had on tap at Bent RIver a couple of times. A generally good and consistent beer, but it really can change a bit depending on age and batch. Generally light hopped and leaning towards the malty/plain side, but hey, you gotta sell to the dummies.

4oz sampler at the Bent River brewpub. This one was pretty much a standard copper color with a white head. Aroma was malts with a light aroma of hops. Flavor and mouthfeel were creamy notes of malts with some malt finish. Middle of the road. Braudog (6710) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUN 2, 2005
Light amber or dark yellow with a filmy head. Medium bitterness, but ultimately this is a middle of the road pale ale. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2006
Nice looking, pouring a pale amber body with a frothy white head that does sheet lacing as you drink. It smells of caramel with a touch of toffee covered with tart oranges and tangerines. Very nicely balanced APA, the light citric bitterness matching the sweet malt evenly. Good sessionable material here.heemer77 (5357) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 15, 2006

At the brewpub. The poured a dark ornage with a white head. The aroma had iced tea and oranges along with some toffee. The taste was dry with breadcrust and some grapefruit. The finsih was sweet, but the hops character increases as you drink. A decent pale ale. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2006
