tap at Bent River on Nov. 26, 2011. Very thin watery wheat beer - not offensive but not interesting at all. Bland. 3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 26, 2008
Draft at Bent River. Hazed golden orange body. Chunky, bready wheat all over this thing... there’s a light lactic sourness throughout, some stale wood and stale crackers and bread crust. Tastes a bit like unsalted, stale saltine crackers. Medium body, frothy, just a little bit coarse on the palate... but the flavor is downright terrible... old, wet, moldy crackers and bread. drowland (8932) - Georgia, USA - AUG 21, 2009
Have had this on tap at Bent River many times. Pretty much your straightforward wheat ale on the light side for the common drinkers around. Not bad, though. radagast83 (8299) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 11, 2012
4oz sampler at the Bent River brewpub. Poured a relatively filtered yellow color, so it was a lot less hazy than I expected. Light sweet grain notes, with a touch of wheat notes. A bit boring, but inoffensive and pretty darn drinkable.

It seems every brewpub has to produce one of these. It’s good looking with a clear gold body and a frothy white head. Nice lacing, too. It smells of wheat flakes with a spoonful of honey and tastes pretty much the same. More of a Summer brew.Cavie (4769) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2010

clear copper color. Very light aroma. Some wheaty notes. Taste is metallic grain. Wheat finish with soil and some small bits of citrus. Fairly standard. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2009
On tap at Bent River brewpub. Golden yellow, no head. Very light nose of wheat and light honey. Taste of corn and wheat. Lively carbonation feel and a semi burnt malt finish. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - FEB 13, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Slightly hazy yellow color with thin white head. Vanilla aroma. Slightly sweet with pleasant cereal grain and vanilla flavor. Unusual, but tasty wheat beer. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - FEB 12, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark very dark gold with a medium white head. Thin in body and mild but it still has a significant wheat flavor. Clean and crisp. The beer has a long finish of lemons. Well done.
