UPDATED: NOV 27, 2011 Tap at Bent River on Nov. 26, 2011. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Awesome citrus hop aroma and taste. Good balance. Really nice beer. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - AUG 12, 2009
UPDATED: MAY 17, 2010 Re-tried this again on tap a few days ago and holy crap it’s good. Wonderful citrus hoppy aromas flowing up from the dry hopping. Their original pale ale recipe is decent, but this dry hopped version is really. freaking. good. I love Bent River and they make me sad that I moved to Tallahassee. radagast83 (8191) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Full pint of this beer at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy, but mostly clear copper color with a medium sized lasting white head. Aroma was hoppy, but not overtly hoppy. This was pretty enjoyable. Touch of citrus notes, malt balance. Iphonephan (7073) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JAN 21, 2014
On draft at the brewery in Rock Island IL. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Mild fruity hop nose. Flavors of grass and mild citrus. Light to medium bodied. Light bitter finish.

Ruddy orange with a thin head and a POW of a hop aroma. This has a stoic hoppy basis and a nice fruity twist. Well done. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUL 17, 2005
Hand Bottled: Courtesy of Duane via trade. Bready and light pine aroma is somewhat weak. Pours a transparent orange with an insignificant white head that quickly becomes a soapy looking ring. Real light malt up front with a great pine hop finish. Very light caramel becomes noticeable as t warms. Aroma hurts the score a little, but obviousy it could have lost a little in the hand bottling process. Still a nice APA. JPDIPSO (6257) - Wauwatosa, USA - AUG 19, 2007
Lightly hazed amber to light copper color. Smaller off-white head. Full fresh hops aromas with mild grapefruit and citric zest. Hints of pale malts in the background. LIght caramel start which is ushered aside by the fresh hops. Grapefruit with just a touch of light fruit. Some what light in feel, but not to overpowering to make it seem thin. This poured a slightly hazed orange-gold body with a thick white head. Nice lacing. The aroma begins with a light grapefruit and lemon zest smell followed quickly by a light sweet caramel. The flavor balances both elements well. The finish is a soft citric bitterness. Very sessionable.heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 15, 2006

On tap at the brewpub. The body was a slightly hazy medium orange. The aroma was soapy with orange soda. There was also grapefruit and banana peel. The taste had dry grapefruit rind with some toffee and grass. This is decent, but needs a little more body.
