On tap @ The Bent River Brewpub. Pours a medium amber color. Aromas of floral hops and something herbal. Flavor is hoppy, herbal with a tart start and a mellow dry finish. Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 28, 2010
cloudy dirty orange appearance. Aroma has a smattering of hops; crisp, fruity, clean and spicy. Nice smell. Some banana. Taste is largly centinneal and cascade. Hopped flavor with a nice bitter finish. CanIHave4Beers (4241) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a hazy golden color with a small head and not a lot of lace to speak of on the glass. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - DEC 15, 2006
The aroma is fairly mild, at first it’s got sort of a dirty water character but that thankfully fades leaving a clean maltiness and a little bit of citrus.
The flavor has a great toasty malt character, is mildly sweet but has a good deal of fruit forward hoppiness. It’s straightforward but works really nicely,
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear orange color with thin white head. Floral hop nose, but not as aromatic as I expected a dry hopped ale to be. Nice sprucy hop flavor, but again, more subtle than I anticipated. Not much flavor otherwise with a thin mouth feel. SledgeJr (3577) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - SEP 6, 2004
On tap at the brewpub. Looks like the regular pale ale. Aroma of that Acme anvil that coyote is always trying to drop on the Roadrunner. Outstanding cascade hop usage. In fact, wreckless cascade hop application. There’s so many hops here that I think we could sterilize wounds with this stuff. You actually get thirsty after drinking this, it is so bitterly dry. Don’t start with this one when you visit here, but certainly don’t miss it.

Draft at a tasting event. From notes. Huge citrus and pine aromas and taste. I’m diggin this one. keepersj12 (3142) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 21, 2012
A slightly hoppier version of their pale ale. Nice malt aroma with some grass and bread. The flavor starts with a sweet malt base followed by a nice hop finish. Dry and refreshing. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2010
On tap at brewpub, pours a hazy orance color with a thin whtie head and lacing, the aroma hits you right away with nice citrus and hoppy touch, the first sip is very bitter and hoppy but has a great malt balance, very good. willblake (2664) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - JUL 12, 2010
20100608 Tap at brewpub. Soft bodied, laid back c-hop aroma and lasting mild hop bitterness. Nothing extraordinarily hoppy about this one that would make you think they put any emphasis on the dry hopping, but it’s a fine APA. ryanfolty (2655) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JUL 27, 2011
