Pours a slightly hazy orange with a 1-2 finger, creamy, eggshell head that has decent retention. Aroma is citrus, light caramel, light fruit and a touch of biscuit. Flavor is bright citrus, caramel and toast, with a light melon-like fruitiness. Palate is fairly light bodied off dry and somewhat heavily carbonated. Nice, fresh citrus APA, good stuff. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 29, 2012

On tap, poured into a shaker. The aroma is citrus and grassy. It pours a slightly hazy orange with a light, white head and small, thin bubbles. It doesnít really retain very well with only a thin ring and clear surface. It has a runny lace and leaves a clean glass. The taste is a good balance between medium bitter and medium sweet. Itís texture is oily with a medium fizzy carbonation and a medium body. The finish is dry with a clean, resin and light citrus peel finish. The resin quality sticks around in the aftertaste briefly. Growler. Nice head and cloudy. Similar appearance to most pale ales. Nice strong aroma. Flavor was a little disappointing considering how pleasant the aroma was. Not nearly as flavorful and hoppy as I expected (considering the previous reviews). Not horrible by any means, but not one of the better pale ales that Iíve had. Hand Bottled: Courtesy of Duane via trade. Bready and light pine aroma is somewhat weak. Pours a transparent orange with an insignificant white head that quickly becomes a soapy looking ring. Real light malt up front with a great pine hop finish. Very light caramel becomes noticeable as t warms. Aroma hurts the score a little, but obviousy it could have lost a little in the hand bottling process. Still a nice APA.

Courtesy of Pailhead. Very light hop aroma, muted in a sense. A little skunky. Initial flavor is sweet caramel malt, with a decent hop kcik at the end. Still has slight skunk character to it. Decent APA. heemer77 (5355) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 15, 2006
On tap at the brewpub. The body was a slightly hazy medium orange. The aroma was soapy with orange soda. There was also grapefruit and banana peel. The taste had dry grapefruit rind with some toffee and grass. This is decent, but needs a little more body. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2006
This poured a slightly hazed orange-gold body with a thick white head. Nice lacing. The aroma begins with a light grapefruit and lemon zest smell followed quickly by a light sweet caramel. The flavor balances both elements well. The finish is a soft citric bitterness. Very sessionable.BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2011
