12 oz bottle pours black color with a tan head . Aroma was not too strong, mostly coffee. Taste was also mostly coffee, some sweetness at the beginning with a roasted, bitter finish. wlajwl (7201) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 28, 2015
Aroma is dark malts and earthy. The flavor is dark malts, milk chocolate, light fruit and a mildly acidic/smooth finish. ads135 (5207) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 19, 2015
Pretty decent stout. Sweet and rich. Really chocolaty with a slick mouthfeel. Tried at El Bait Shop with Jess in 2015. csaso (2361) - Missouri, USA - JUN 5, 2015
Tap/Growler - nice big tan foamy head, pitch black color, big roasty aroma and flavor, mild chocolate, pretty smooth finish, pretty good for a stout

On tap at Bent River Rock Island. Black appearance with a tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, molasses, coffee, oats and roast. Similar flavor, kind of sweet, but kind of weird in a way too. Medium plus body. OK.

Draft - Molasses, oatmeal and lots of toast. Deep maroon with almost no head. Sweet dark fruit, raisin and a sweet finish. Fruity and almost too sweet, but interesting. nike (966) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 1, 2014
bottle, another thanks to Cheap...great call. Black pour, 1 inch brown head. An oatmeal stout that was not rude or assertive. Well balanced, chocolate malt notes with a subtle oatmeal flavor. Medium body, nice slight bite from a stout. ARH (1139) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 16, 2014
On tap, poured into a shaker. Oatmeal chocolate chip and raisin cookies are what this beer smells like. It has the appearance of a watery, dark brown-black liquid. It doesn’t leave any lace and retains a light ring of head. The beer is a combination of medium / medium-high sweetness with a light bitterness. The beer has a watery texture without too much carbonation - it’s kinda flat, but does had a very light, soft carbonation. The medium, malty body finishes with a sweet chocolate and raisin crescendo, and a touch of cola. The aftertaste is short lived, but has a fresh baked cookie quality. On draft at the brewery in Rock Island IL. Pours a clear dark cola with an off white head. Nutty aroma. Flavors of charred wood with some chocolate and coffee notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter roasted finish.
