A good unassuming pale ale. I'd be happy to drink this again in the future ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Bent River Rock Island. Amber and clear appearance with an off-white head. Sort of a malty pale ale with notes of caramel and toffee, balanced by earthy hops. Finishes lightly dry.

RedSox2004 (1977) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - MAR 3, 2015
Slightly hazy golden amber, one-finger rocky off-white head and ok lacing. Bready malt, grassy hops that just don’t mesh. Light to medium body, lotsa carbonation, clean finish.

floydslip (424) - Washington DC, USA - FEB 27, 2015
Light amber beer with a thin late-forming off white head. Light nose of bread, a bit of caramel, and something a bit flowery, although overall there’s little in terms of aroma. Flavor is stronger with a caramel malt base overlaid with some light fruity hops. The beer is quite dry, but underneath it all are some odd flavors of soap and perfume--not unpleasant, but a bit off putting. Kind of unusual, but strangely drinkable.

shrubber85 (11666) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JAN 27, 2015
Bottle. Orange-melon malt and orange peel/quinine aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Slightly sweet light orange malt and moderately bitter lemon peel/quinine flavor. This beer is endorsed by Fred Garvin: Male Prostitute.

Patrickctenchi (6750) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 22, 2014
Bottle:
Pours hazy, amber, with a creamy, off-white head.
Light caramel and melon scent.
Slightly tangy citrus, melon taste.
Sharp caramel malt, a little bready and stale....
Not great...a very odd mix of tastes.

Onslow (1535) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - NOV 25, 2014
Pour from a 12oz bottle, BOM selection. Nice looking darker copper brew, slightly cloudy and luminous. Aroma of light citrus, melon, earth and caramel. Taste is modest sweet malt at the start, crisp fruit / melon emerging in the middle with a wavering citrus crispness arriving late in the swallow. Ends a little sweet yet. Nice palate, very pleasant and enjoyable

Bottle at home. Poured copper, much darker than most pale ales. Mild aroma of ceareal and bread. Slightly malty, slightly hoppy. Looks like an amber, tastes like a pale ale. Boring.

ttutony (944) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 17, 2014
Copper color with an off-white head. Metallic aroma. Some malt on the palate but also has a metallic taste as well. Hopefully this was a bad batch and not how they intended it to taste.
