Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Darkish hops, mild bitterness, some sweetness and malt in the aroma.
The flavour is bitter hops and sweet malt. Not much more to say...
Bottle. Orange-melon malt and orange peel/quinine aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Slightly sweet light orange malt and moderately bitter lemon peel/quinine flavor. This beer is endorsed by Fred Garvin: Male Prostitute. BVery (10600) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 4, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle. Murky orange pour with a small head. Mild caramel nose that is just a touch stale smelling, but not bad. Lighter palate, somewhat crisp, and a bit sweet. Decent but not great. drowland (8827) - Georgia, USA - OCT 1, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. Old notes from June. I was surprised I hadn’t rated this already. Light amber pour with a small khaki head that sticks and laces mildly. Plain aroma, not offensive, some sweet toffee notes, citrus, a bit of a grape kick. Sweeter pale flavor, caramel malts poking through a touch strong for me, citrus hops, doughy. Not bad.

Draft at the Rock Island Bent River location. Poured a mostly clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma was light hop notes - a touch of grapefruit and citrus, some light sweet malt. Nice light floral hops, some good balanced malt character. Sweet, but pretty well balanced. Easy to drink. Iphonephan (7012) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JAN 21, 2014
On draft at the brewery in Rock Island IL. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Light floral hop nose. Flavors of citrus and some caramel. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. Smooth, slightly bitter finish. wlajwl (6871) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Aroma is fruit, dryish malts and an undercurrent of toffee, similar to an EPA. The flavor is citrus, hop resin notes, malts, mild heat and a bitter finish. A mix of being mildly messy and rough around the edges, it wasn’t bad just could have been better. ajnepple (6698) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 28, 2015
On tap at Bent River Rock Island. Amber and clear appearance with an off-white head. Sort of a malty pale ale with notes of caramel and toffee, balanced by earthy hops. Finishes lightly dry. Patrickctenchi (6624) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 22, 2014
Pours hazy, amber, with a creamy, off-white head.
Light caramel and melon scent.
Slightly tangy citrus, melon taste.
Sharp caramel malt, a little bready and stale....
Not great...a very odd mix of tastes.
