Canberra is coming along in leaps and bounds in home grown brews, this is one of the better local Canberra brews. Has one of those new fancy pull top lids, not a huge fan of those.

Can. Light hazy gold with small white head. Tropical fruit aromas - lychee, mango, passionfruit, papaya, pineapple. A more muted flavour profile, displaying similar tropical fruits, hints of green apple and caramel malt. Moderate bitterness and light bodied. A good version of an Australian Pale Ale. Can - pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is pine, mango and cereal malt. Taste is malt with a bit ofnfruity citrus into a lingering dry finish. TedE (1569) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 17, 2017
375ml can into shaker. Hazy amber beer with a magnificent crown of pure white foam and light carbonation. Aroma is citric fruit and a little earthiness. Flat mouthfeel. Light body. Taste starts with subtle pine then finishes with hops, herbs and (very) late umami notes. sm89walt (2092) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAR 26, 2017
Keg - Keg and Brew, Sydney. Clear golden with a small but lasting and lacing white head. Soft citrus and tropical fruits - lemon, citrus, peach, pineapple, tangerine - with biscuity malts and some spice. Medium body, soft to medium carbonation and a juicy moderate length and intensity finish.

Pull-top 375ml can from Slowbeer. BB 31/07/17
Pours a slightly hazy pale gold body, white foam.
Pleasant aroma - fragrant citrus, grass, mango & pine hop with a cereally malt presence.
Medium body, carbonation is smooth, goes down very easy.
Nice sweet toasted cereal malt upfront leading onto a gentle but enjoyable hop character of mango, pine, grass & citrus. Subdued bitterness, gear for serious drinkability.
Can see how this is popular - the cool open top can is an added element of coolness. mkel07 (6575) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAR 24, 2017
080317. Another of the 2017 GABS Hottest 100 beers that I have not had that I have been able to get my hands on. This one comes courtesy of an on line purchase from Bucket Boys and was packed in a very stylish looking can. Great thing about the can is that it is a wide mouth can, with the whole top coming off. Empty can works great as a pen holder. This is a beer that while not big or bold it certainly packs plenty of flavour into the 4.2% ABV. Full bodied and leaves a malty aftertaste in the mouth that stays long after the beer is gone. Davros (3362) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 21, 2017
Pours orange with a quickly fading head.
Nose shows lychee, passionfruit and soft clean malt.
Flavours include more heavy lychee and passionfruit along with just a hint of bready malt. Super easy-drinking. danjs5 (360) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2017 Appealing light hazy straw pour, frothy head with sweet light citris hoppy funky aroma. Almost a hint of licorice on the nose. Big frothy up front hoppy funky flavour. Balance of bitterness and light malt sweetness. Subtle background spice at the front moving to fizzy pepper at the finish. Light texture. Complex and pleasant flavours. Tasted with Crankshaft IPA and probably prefer the IPA. However this is still a real treat. macca147 (833) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 25, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 Can. 375ml. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma: Herbal and earthy aromas. Taste: Mild hops with herbal and floral flavours. Complex flavour balance, almost tastes earthy and like vegetables. A very interesting brew, not amazing, but interesting.
