Cask at the Weatheroak Tap House in Studley. One of my all time favorite beers. Unique stong mild with wonderful taste and gorgeous colour. Just wish they would bottle and sell it

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at Cornubia. Almost black body, upper part lacing, naked black surface. Earth and chocolate on the nose. Mixed taste of chocolate malts, dark berries and dark fruits. Rather sweet malt-accented ending. Smooth on the swallow. Pleasing. (Bristol 29.04.2017).

Towey1989 (3264) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2017
Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A deep brown colour with a medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, breaded malts, dried fruits, some blackcurrant, a little smoke and subtle spice. Taste of breaded malts, dried fruits, some blackcurrant, slight smoke and subtle spice. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, fruity, spicy bitterness in the finish. A tasty mild, lots of fruit, bready malts plus subtle smoke and spice. Good.

TimE (6130) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 7, 2013
Dark brown color. Tobacco leaves, coffee and slight nutty nose. Med full bodied. Very malty good mouth feel, but doesn’t deliver the depth of Hobson’s Mild. Decent straight forward brown ale.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and spirits, Birmingham. Poured a dark red with a thin tan short-lived head. The aroma is malty but rather weak. The flavour is bitter with smoky roasted malts. A super beer and another winner from Beofulf.
