Bottle at home, from Tamworth BF via SP I think, 21/01/13.
Very dark mahogony brown approaching black with a thin tan head that soon collapses to a puddle.
Nose is dark lightly roasted malt, molasses, light chocolate, some jammy fruits in the background.
Taste follows, light paper/cardboard, touch of dark fruits, some chocolate.
Medium bodied but on the thin side, moderate carbonation, slightly dry finish.
Drinkable, started off not being into this and had it at a distinctly average 3 but it grew on me a little. Scopey (16777) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2012
