Very dark mahogony brown approaching black with a thin tan head that soon collapses to a puddle.
Nose is dark lightly roasted malt, molasses, light chocolate, some jammy fruits in the background.
Taste follows, light paper/cardboard, touch of dark fruits, some chocolate.
Medium bodied but on the thin side, moderate carbonation, slightly dry finish.
Drinkable, started off not being into this and had it at a distinctly average 3 but it grew on me a little.

decent tan head. Clear deep burgundy pour. A little smokey and some chocolate in the aftertaste. Nicely done.

the avion, aldridge. Dark brown beer with loose medium Michael head. Aroma of roasted malts and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, dark bitter chocolate and dark fruits. Medium bodied and a touch of cream. Good porter.

Handpull at the Dragon Inn, Worcester. Black colour, with a tan head. Earthy and rather bitter, with distinct dark chocolate aroma.
