Aroma; juicy malts, fruity hops, apple caramel leaves wort. Look; off white good head, clear gold golden body. Taste; crispy hops, fruity caramel malts, apple in bread, some grain - pilsener finish. Feel; normal. Overall; normal to premium pilsener. Dinner, cheese and pizza friendly. [50cl.can abv4.7% BB8.17 [email protected]]

Can, 500 ml. A classic Eurolager, I am afraid - despite a name that would allude to something a bit more substantial: cardboard, short but, a redeeming feature, something a bit more goldenish about it.

Dark golden coloured and almost clear. Has a white head. Mostly sweet, sugars and faint honey notes. Some sweet bread too, Faint bitterness.

Nice lager/pilsner from Berentsen. A bit more dark golden than the average store bought. Crystal cleer, but lacking the "up-side-down snowstorm" of carbonation. Thin layer of foam in the glass. Not much aroma, but hints of white bread from the malt. First moutfull is oily and surprisingly bitter. Yes, it’s bitter, because it has almost no visible carbonation or foamy head. Long aftertaste that give a pleasant caramel flavour (cara-pils?) at the end. Not a bad beer at all.

With the name "Hunting pils" I had expected a lot more taste. Easy to drink but not much more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From can onboard Fridtjofen 10.07.15. Clear golden. Foamy, but diminishing, white head and lacing. Not much aroma. Standard and neutral taste of Eurolager, with no off-tastes. Perhaps a skigyt hint of grass and sweet malt in aroma and taste. Low bitterness. A bit waterish.

arsol (1195) - NORWAY - MAR 21, 2015
Lite bitter i ettersmak.

Gyldenbrun. Pent tett skum med litt lacing. Maltaroma. Smaken er korn & malt. Mest korn. Godt matøl - men litt kjedelig.
