Large brown foamy head with strange solvent flavor. Dark almost black body. Heavy root taste dominating light chocolate. Fits well with garlic croutons in a soup. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 33cl. In the aroma I smell roast malt and caramel. The beer is brown and has quite a big head. In the taste I have hazelnuts and hop bitterness. Sweet and bitter are in balance. Medium carbonated.

espenra (1015) - Kurland, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2013
33cl bottle. Best before 2014-03-15. It poured a black colour with a faint red hue and a medium big offwhite head. Medium carbonation. Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, dried fruits and hints of alcohol. Flavour is round and balanced. Notes of dark caramel, roasted malts, dried fruits and syrup. Alcohol is noticeable but subtle. A good but perhaps dangerous beer.

RickFifty (1254) - Fredrikstad, NORWAY - DEC 11, 2013
Dark red-brown color, golden head. Burnt sugar and caramel nose, yeasty, dried fruit, dates, hint of alcohol. Coffee and chocolate taste, nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, moderate to high carbonation which suits the beer quite well.
