UPDATED: DEC 13, 2014 Mørk i utseendet, fin aroma av sødme og meget mild kaffe og sjokolade. Smaker det samme, egentlig ganske god denne her.

[email protected] Dark brown-ruby color, good steady brownish head. Cardboard, date cake in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Date, spaced cake, cinnamon, "pepperkaka". Decent. Doesn’t feel like 9%.

Pours a deep amber, brownish color with a caramel colored, thick and creamy head. Mellow and sweet aroma with rich malts, dates and raisins. Creamy on the palate, sweet malty profile with a light bitterness towards and into the aftertaste. A slight alcoholic burn also. Softly carbonated.

Dark dark brown, with a small brown head. Malty caramelly aroma. Taste is sweet, with taste of walnuts, chocolate, caramel and alcohol. I’m impressed. One of the best christmasbeers I’ve had.

ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - JAN 9, 2013
Bottle traded with Cunningham. Dark malty aroma with caramel, chocolate, earth, nuts, licorice, prunes, raisins, port wine and alcohol. The flavour is reminiscent of chocolate filled with nuts. Light sweet, light bitter taste, full body, velvety carbonation. Slightly astringent, alcoholic finish, nevertheless very pleasant. A fine Christmas treat.
