Sampled from a bottle- thanks Holmen1! Brown with a creamy coloured head. A nice brown ale with a taste of toffee and roasted malt. Medium body. Not too sweet and not much bitterness. Less sweet than most brown ales, which I find to my taste. A highly drinkable beer. metalspice (933) - Jevnaker, NORWAY - OCT 14, 2016
Mørk brun med fint skum. Nøtter, kaffe og høy i duften. Smaker ristede nøtter og kaffegrut. Bitter avslutning. Tynn munnfølelse. Bedrer seg ettersom temperaturen stiger. Hansen (8587) - Assentoft, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2015
Amber coloured and clear. Has an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, toffee, butter. Nonshaugen (597) - Fetsund, NORWAY - JUL 31, 2015
Clear, dark brown to deep amber colour, one-finger off-white head. Aroma is malty and sweet with chocolate notes. Quite thick mouthfeel, and the chocolate toffee coffee tastes is all there. Well carbonated, sticky bitterness at the back of the tongue. Very well executed brown ale, not as creamy as, say Newcastle Brown. And I like that. Pours cola brown, ruby reddish with soapy beige head. Aroma is malty sweet, lots of brown candy sugar and caramel. Taste has burnt malts, coffee, some brown sugar as well as toffee and caramel. Goes into a burnt malty finish with lots of black coffee.
Flott farge. Rund og fin smak. Lett sjokoladesmak og bitterhet. Totalt sett en god øl. bbertels (474) - NORWAY - AUG 30, 2014
A good and solid brown with nuts, caramel and some fruits. A decent but not very frothy head. Inbreak (5797) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - AUG 11, 2014

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted, burnt caramel malts, grass, hops, coffee, malt candy, chocolate. Taste is dry kind of metallic, grass, hay, caramel malts, paper, burnt caramel, sour coffee. Medium bitterness, harsh metallic watery mouthfeel. Meh!
Crystal clear, dark copper to brown body with a slightly creamy, light tan, long-lived head that laces the glass well. Moderate aroma that is sweet and malty with dark dried fruits, both raisins and prunes, I also get brown sugar, light roasted notes and hints of hops. The moderate flavour follows the aroma. Light sweet and light to moderate bitter taste. A bit watery on the palate with metallic hints in the finish. Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2014
[33 cl bottle, enjoyed 4 months before BB date, from Meny Alna, Oslo]
Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. High fluffy long lasting good looking white head. Cloudy brown body. Strong sweet roasted malt straw bread aroma. Fairly hopped and bitter sweet roasted and dry malt flavor. Low carbonation. Long finish. Nice surprise.
