3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear reddish brown with an almost absent head. The aroma is completely dominated by booze, with some dark, sweet fruits. Solid body, some dark fruits and burned caramel with a roaring alcohol that really bites the tongue. Not really sure what the idea is behind this. I bet this has got to be fortified. 180212

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
14th March 2012
A hand bottle bonused to me by Henrik - Cheers Papsoe. Clear amber beer, tiny tan head. Silky palate with quite some body. Sweet malt with obvious alcohol aniseed spice. Some brandy. Sweet dry finish. A great big sweet beer but I couldnt drink much of it. No idea it was 19.0% - would have guessed about 12.0% - so partially well hidden alcohol!
