COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Heller, süßlich-herber Beginn, alkoholisch wirkend.

Golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of nothing special, some mild dusty hops maybe. Taste of fresh hops, green grains, cornflakes, cereals, blood oranges and parsley. Easy to drink with a quite dry finish. Nice and solid Märzen.

Some malts but otherwise a plain aroma. This is a bit sweet but also malty and yet still plain. Not that great.

Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also. Zippy, nice head. Starts strong and spicy, quite dry, but then more and more moldy-grasy, a bit metallically, also with an alcoholic touch. Not my favourite!

pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUN 20, 2009
Bottle: Deep golden with a stable + creamy head; robust bisquity and malty nose, accompanied by some mild spicy hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite soft, medium bodied; lingering sweet-malty finish with a nice balancing hoppiness. Good, good brew.....

MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2009
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized blond foamy head. Light-sweet pale and cara-malty, slightly strawy aroma with spicy herbal and slightly nettle-like hops. Sweet flavour with a light hoppy bitterness, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Solid malty base with a mild but still present herbal and spicy hops character; sweet and slightly bitter finish. Smooth and easy going brew (03.VI.09).

3.2
Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - MAR 12, 2009
bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Intensive malty flavours dominate, rounded off with shy but aromatic hoppy flavours. Hints of herbs. Not as spicy as expected, but still very nice.
