Bottle at Stuu’s. Pours opaque dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of chilli, roast, light cardboard. Taste is more Rosy and green pepper, but no real heat. Sweet finish. Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 23, 2015
Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is capsicum, chili, roasted, taste is sweet chocolate, toffee, dry, light spice. JanEric (1241) - Meppel, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2015
Bron to black, small off white head. Aroma has dark malts like caramel. Slightly bitter in the taste, but low to no chili remakable. Sweetish, full body. But nice for a low abv beer like this. Erzengel (9338) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 9, 2015
Many thanks to beerhunter111 for this 33cl bottle. Best before 03.2015. Smooth-malty beginning. Nice roasted, smooth. Heavy roasted malt, slightly dry body. The aftertaste is smooth malty with hints of spicy peppers. A nice fitting combination, but I’m not unhappy that the chilies are only very few. Long malty and heavily roasted aftertaste with hints of the chilies. mike_77 (7022) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JAN 4, 2015
Black with quick fading head. Quite a strong flavoured beer. Dark malts and also a sweet nutty taste. Generally a sweet stout with just a light warming hint of chilli.

330ml bottle, shared between 5 at the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Dec 14, brought by me, thanks to Benzai for the swap. Big malty, grainy aroma. Taste is molasses with a very subtle chili hit. Fairly weak but still some nice roasted flavours. BlackHaddock (7574) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 9, 2014
33cl bottle shared between five at the 8th December 2014 Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange Group meeting: cheers Mat for bringing this. Dark brown body with a tanned topping. Struggled to find any ’chilli’ worth mentioning, mild flavours throughout to be honest, malty and slightly chocolate in nature but a bit of a let down with the alcohol level not helping the beers cause too greatly either. A weak Porter in depth, flavour and alcohol: expected so much more. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2014
Bottled (backlog). Deep brown colour, small beige head. Aroma is toasted malts, coffee, mild spices as well as some nutty notes. Flavour is spices, mild toasted notes along with some wood, caramel, mild alcohol and some slight burning in the finish and aftertaste. Maakun (6297) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 26, 2014
Bottle. Black with fast disappearing beige head that leaves some nice bubbles. Coffee and some licorice, dry spicy notes and some tart fruits (black berries) and some young walnuts. Don't really get much chili here, but overall a nice porter, quite dry and complex. Good stuff for 4% ABV. mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 10, 2014
Bottle. Dark body, medium creamy tan head. Aroma has dark chocolate, toasty nose, little bit of tabacco ash. Taste has high roasty bitterness, very little chilli in the after taste, almost not noticiable. Medium acidic sweetness in the finish. Body is medium, flat carbonation. The chilli is hidden.
