Bottle, trade with Bierkoning, huge thanx!
Barva: černá s rubínovou jiskrou. Pěna hustá, vysoká a sdržící. Vůně: zemitá kávová a sladová, velice příjemná. Chuť: plné tělo, chuť se stopou hořké čkololády, kávy a lehce i čili. Zatím nejlepší z téhle sorty piv. joergen (28716) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2013

Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium sized darker beige light brown colored foamy head on top of a black colored beer.
Aroma has some good notes of oatmeal, roast, dust, chalk, coffee and chocolate.
Flavour has notes of dust, coal, roast, coffee, some chocolate, yeast, nuts, porridge, some coffee beans and malt toast with bitters and a light light spicy touch... Now we know...
Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, cacoa, malt toast, light hint of something spicy and some dusty coffee tones.
Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to lightly fuller bodied and a creamy texture.
If I didn’t know about the pepper I wouldn’t have guessed it either. The pepper is not noticeable, but than again I love spicy food. Next to that it’s a decent beer, an absolutely for 4% ABV! Well done!

Bottled @ DDDH, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, hint of pepper. Dark malty bitterness in taste, bit creamy, slight spicy hint. I have had it before and can remember the spicy bite was a bit stronger. Nice and easy drinker and lots of flavor for a 4% beer. Bosbouw (2957) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - JUL 12, 2014

Dutch stout/porter small, with a hint of green bellpepper. The tangy taste is really powerful compared to the low alcohol MaartenRF10 (1959) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - JAN 25, 2013

Taste is soft roasted malts, mild coffee and sweet chocolat. Smooth carbonation, decent body. Nice long chocolat aftertaste. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JAN 30, 2016
5/8/2012 1:28:34 PM Bottle from Bierkoning. I was resisting trying this beer, leaving it for last, as I’m no fan of the style and chili in a porter just seems weird. But very pleasantly surprised. Dark black body with thin tan head. Nose is malts, molasses and licorice. Taste is similar with molasses and licorice. Slightly watery texture. Chili is well done, not overpowering at all. Warming finish.
