Bottle. Pours a very dark brown beer with a creamy tanned head on top. Aroma has licorice, fresh pepper and some bay leaves influences. Flavour is quite bittersweet, licorice and molasses are really present. Not so spicey as I’d hoped for, being a chili porter. Still great flavours and has a medium long finish. Dry on the mouthfeel, quite decent beer. TheJvd (1308) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 28, 2013
RBESG ’13. Bottle at de Rooie Dop brewdungeon shared by Benzai, thanks! Pours dark brown to black with a medium thanned head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and some earthy hops. Taste also has roasted malts, chocolate and a little bit of chili. Medium body and carbo. Not as spicy as you would expect from a chili porter, but quite nice. meerbier (1474) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - OCT 25, 2013
Bottle@Home. Chocolate, dark malts and a hint of chilli in the aroma. Black, light brown head, good lace. Light sweet, roasted, chocolate, light bitter, strange taste. Like chilli peppers but without the warming/hot feeling. Medium to full bodied. Flavourful, nice, but chilli? MelvinKalksma (1631) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 1, 2014
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2014 Nice dark beer that tastes a little like coffee and pepper. Problem with this beer is that it?s a little too much water. The taste is nice but doesn?t pack a punch. Maakun (6219) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 26, 2014
Bottle. Black with fast disappearing beige head that leaves some nice bubbles. Coffee and some licorice, dry spicy notes and some tart fruits (black berries) and some young walnuts. Don't really get much chili here, but overall a nice porter, quite dry and complex. Good stuff for 4% ABV.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 26 Aug 2015) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, roasted grain, a gentle chilli touch and a balanced cacao bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced with a light chilli touch. Nice one. TBone (17793) - Pori, FINLAND - JUN 2, 2012

Courtesy of bierkoning, tnx Edo! Pitch black color, good beige head. Toasted malty aroma with hints of licorice. Light-bodied. Ashy toasted malty flavor with hints of licorice. Not much chilli burn in my bottle. Just a nice light porter. Should have a bit more body anyway.
Bottle. Almost black with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, medium sweet, little liquorice, hops and a little bitter. saxo (18960) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2012
Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown and a little hazy. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, chili notes and hops. ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 6, 2013
Bottle from trade with Bierkonig. A 4 % ABV chili porter? This could be interesting... Pours a jet black body with a medium creamy beige head. Nose is licorice, dark malts, chocolate and hints of leather. And perhaps a slight chili sensation tingling in the background, which I’m honestly not sure whether or not I would have caught if it wasn’t for my prior knowledge that this actually is a chili beer. The same goes for the taste: chocolate, leather, coffee and hints of licorice, with some kind of faint chili burn sensation far, far in the back. Some spice burn seem to come early in the palate; the body is medium but the carbonation is slightly fizzy and the bubbles seem to carry a bit of chili with them, but for the same reason as stated earlier, it’s hard to tell. Nevertheless, a nice porter - particularly for the low ABV. I only wish for a tiny bit more chili.
