Pours a clear orange colour with great carbonation and head.
Has a dry/roasted aroma, with some fruity notes there.
Taste is a dry, hoppy, and nutty sensation. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2014
Bottled from speciaalbierpakket.nl, BB 03-2015, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Small gusher, initially clear golden color with a huge rocky slight off-white head. Aroma is quite spicy, peppery, some coriander or celery, flowery, slight green apple. Bit bitter in taste, bit sweet, slight sourness. Quite high in carbonation. Bit stale finish, metallic. Im afraid this one is from the period where infections were not uncommon. kevnic2008 (12010) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - FEB 27, 2014
Many thanks for this bottle to kappldav123. Pours yellow-orange color with a thin tight head. Aroma has light spice little clove fruitiness and grain. Taste is grainy light spice and fruitiness. jmgreenuk (9523) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 18, 2014
Bottle from the Bierkoning. Poured a hazy medium to light amber with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is zesty lemon citrus & yeast. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a dry bubbly yeast aspirin palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. A strange combination of flavours. Won’t win too many friends. tricksta_p (4744) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JAN 30, 2014
Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, spices, hops. Flavour is citrus, yeast and some spices. Some sour notes. Finishes rather dry. Overall this is an okay brew, but a bit too heavy on the citrus.

Blonde Gloed, bottle 330 ml at home, into a tulip glass. ABV 5%
Deep golden orange colour on the body, bright and clear, with two fingers of white head on top. Good retention, medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma is nutty, caramel, that’s pretty much it.
Taste has also nuts, grains, little bit of grass and caramel. Light bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium thin on the body, average carbonation.
Overall quite average but it goes down smoothly

0,33 l bottle directly bought at the brewery. Dark orange and unclear in the glass. Big foamy head. Sweet malt with light hopy grapefruit on the nose. Starts with fruity, light hop herb, and malt with belgian sweetness. Later increases the bitterness on malty base. Little bit sticky at the end. bartlebier (4010) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 16, 2013
33cl bottle, thanks bierkoning for the series. Tip: get the occasionally brett-infected version: it turns the stock tripel tangerine&sugar maltiness into truly surprising, functional and well-tied-in geuze-style citrus zest astringency. Brewer-defyingly enjoyable, a sour saison malgré soi. Lean palate, no real off-tastes if you drink this as a sour, the tastiest & cleanest infected Belgian ale I’ve ever had...sure that must be a testament to the quality of the base brew?
