Bottle. Color: Almost black, thin beige head. Taste: Pretty strange combination of roasted malt and wild yeast acidic sourness. Above average carbonation, just below medium body. Nice try, but in my opinion this beer just isn’t exciting and balanced enough and a bit over-carbonated to be a top beer. Beerhunter111 (22987) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUN 27, 2017
33cl bottle from a trade with bierkoning, thanks! A dark brown beer with a mid-sized to small tan head. Mild sweet roasted malt and lactose in the aroma. Taste of mild roasted sweet malt, chocolate, lactose, brett, nice! TrefwoordPunk (1311) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 23, 2017
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a very dark opaque to brown with a small beige head and an aroma of funk, roasty malts, sweet chocolate, fresh roasted coffee, oak, licorice, vinegar, herbs and nutmeg. The taste is slightly sweet with a dry and sour finish, surprises me! PotjeBier (3804) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAR 26, 2017

Bottle. Black pour, lively brown head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and some caramel. Taste has some caramelised malt, coffee, mild tart and red fruit. Lots of co2. Liked the old recipe better, this is a bit boring. SlackerMads (3547) - DENMARK - DEC 1, 2016
Bottle received in the local European swap, thanks to bierkoning. Black with a medium sized diminishing light brown head. Wood, earth and dark malts in the nose. Flavour has minerals, spices, earth, read wine, dust. Medium/full body, filling mouthfeel, medium bitter. Crisp bretty finish. Svesse (8841) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 19, 2016
(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Sep 2016) Black colour with brief, foamy head. Malty, roasted, yeasty nose with coffee, spicy yeast, citrus and chocolate. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, blueberries, dark bread, citrus and a finish with a mild bitterness and a fresh bretty acidity. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fairly well balanced considering it’s a fairly weird beer. Nice one.
