Blond, hoppy beer, very well balanced. Fruity, a bit spicy too, nice malty aftertaste. This is just a great beer. I tasted it in Hellendoorn, where it is sold in the local supermarket. Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Strikingly bitter beer in a lovely way, restrained, classy. Pours a little cloudy, dark gold. Some flowers and herbs in the aroma. Superb effervescence and conditioning. Baked bread and slight sweetness creeps in as it warms, along with the herbal bitterness (pepper, sharp spicy vegetable matter, fermenting fruit). A very good beer, and a great ABV level! I think this is quite underrated. Thanks to bierkoning! Rosebud butternuts (2396) - Denton, Texas, USA - MAR 25, 2011
Bottle thanks to bierkoning. Poured a clear gold with a violent erupting white head. I poured it in a new Belgium globe glass and the etching made this crazy. It settled down when I transferred to different glass. Aroma was citrus, slight pine, spice, and some brett. Flavor was pretty much on par with the nose. Body was was light with fizzy carbonation. bierkoning (13598) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 7, 2010
750 ml corked bottle, bought in Den Ham. Golden color. tangerine, lemon and coreander in the aroma. Very well hopped. The citric hops almost push away the citrusfruit notes. Vanilla and coreander in the longish hopbitter finish. Hint of pineapple. Very nice well hopped summer beer. Dedollewaitor (16315) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2010
Bottle @ Friday Night Ulfborg Thing. Thanks to J&C. Pours cloudy golden with a small lasting egg white head. Nose is yeast and hops. Dry and fruity tart notes. Lively/sparkling carbonation. Very dry, fruity, grassy and yeasty flavor.

[ Trade by bierkoning ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted, tart - fruity, moderate hoppy, grass, herbs - fresh wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity tart, grass, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts malty and dry, a bit yeasty. Gets more and more fruity like apricot, modest sweet. Interesting! Zwiebel88 (637) - GERMANY - MAY 17, 2015
Gold-orange. Pfirisch-fruchtig in der Nase, Hefe, minimal seifig. Sehr süffig, fruchtig, etwas seifig, rund. Gut. Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2011
Big (off) white head that disappears slow, on top of a light cloudy orange amber colored beer.
Smell is a fine mix of malts, barleys, sweets, liquorice, dough, cookies, something wood/whisky/oak ish in the taste. Good smell.
Taste barleys, fruits, some sweets, more bitter, good bitter, herbs, grass, alcohol, nuts, warmth.
Long warmth malty bitter aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light sticky texture between creamy and light watery.
The smell is really good, the taste a bit strong alcoholic, light dry and spicy, just a tiny bit unbalanced but not bad at all. saxo (19270) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are yeast, caramel, fruits, hops and notes of candy sugar.
