Bottle from trade with bierkoning - many thanks. Pours out in a cloudy yellow-orange colour with airy low head and medium body. Nose of fresh hops and grass. Taste of fresh aromatic hops, light barley, citrus, grass, herbs, nuts and toffee. Easy and nice to drink, refreshing and quaffable at the same time. Really nice IPA. Thank you bierkoning. Maybe not a king but this one is a classic IPA with some herbs and grass in. Starting off huge with citrus and hops, ending quite dry with some carbo. Fluffy but a bit tasteless. Classic and nice piwo. No rocket science but decent work.

Not that bitter as I expected. Was hoping for a little more aroma because I love that in an IPA. The flavor has mostly strawberry. This is the real winning element of this decent IPA. Another nice Berghoeve beer.

33cl bottle, thanks bierkoning for the Berghoeve series. Interesting EU-APA, packing maximum character and flavour in a low-ABV beer. Mix of US and ?EU dryhopping set against a distinctly earthy (saison?) yeast, a tasty if unusually mulled blend. Drinkable, even sessionable as a slightly off-kilter APA/saison due to great dryness and virtually no residual sugars (Belgian brewers 2.0 please take note).
