UPDATED: FEB 12, 2015 Bottle @ home, bedankt Sint! Aroma is herbal/spicy hops, some fruity notes and a touch of grass. Flavour is medium strong hop bitterness, nice smooth malt note to balance it, some fruity notes, some herbal notes. Nice one. Fresh bottle +.5 Martinus (4718) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - NOV 12, 2012
Clear golden colour, amber hue. Towering cream head. Aroma starts with fruity hops, citrus, passionfruit, apricot. Then some earth tones, rain water and malts. Quite bitter flavour, huge hops, light sweet touch. Bit thin, but not surprising considering the ABV. Crisp. Rather short bitter finish, tropical fruits, light honey. Nice. Focussed on hops and not much else, and quite good at it. Good session beer, packs enough flavour without wanting to get to the foreground and command your full attention. Could drink this a whole evening instead of boring lagers.
(From 33cL bottle @ home. From trade with bierkoning. Thanks!)
330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Hazy amber in colour. Pine, grapefruit, biscuity malt, lemon, peach and some soap in the aroma. Hoppy and slightly sweet taste with toffee, grapefruit, peach and mango detected. Refreshing and enjoyable. It has a fair amount of body for its strength. goozen (4150) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2012

Clear amber golden with a small, staying, frothy, white head. Aroma is pleasant exotic fruit with peach and pine dominating. Some citric and orange notes as well. Fairly crisp maltiness. Medium carbonation, fine light and slightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour is elegantly hoppy, apricot, peach, oranges and citrus. Lingering, mildly dry bitter finish. Elegant IPA, almost like a magnificent Golden Ale, really.
Bottle from Bierkoning, thank you! Hazy orange with a medium head. Aroma is full of American aroma hops - lychee, mango, pineapple and pine, citrus, peach and also some yeast. Smells almost like a tropical fruit cocktail, somewhat sweet. The taste, however, is devoid of sweetness, very hoppy in flavour, with a moderately strong bitterness. For an IPA the bitterness seems to be a bit on the lower end of the spectrum but this is just perfect, as the beer doesn’t have any sweet counterpart that would be right in place to balance a stronger bitterness. Fantastic! MiP (15981) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2012
UPDATED: FEB 16, 2012 Bottle, 4.5%. Mild caramelly and citrusy, slightly piney aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Very big and stable white head, but not overcarbonated. The flavour is clean and hoppy. Has a citrusy and piney hoppiness and a faint sweet note. Good and clean. yespr (48094) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2012
33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is spiced, phenolic and slight estery fruity. Smooth fruity, light peachy and crisp hoppy. Mild citrusy. PotjeBier (3774) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 2, 2012
33cl bottle from the brewery. Pours a nice amber color with a huge (almost) white head, long lasting, good lace. Nice aroma’s of fresh hops, grassy, citrussy, some acidity retronasal. Flavor is medium bitter, grassy. Body is thin, could have used a bit more. Nice bitter finish. Very nice thirst quencher, would be a perfect summer beer. Aroma: Delicious! Fruity bit yeasty, smells good!
Aappearance: Beautiful, reddish colour, head was nothing special though.
Taste: First sip is sweet but then ZANG bitter, very mouth full bitterness the after aftertaste is another hit of bitter. I dig this!
Palate: Could have been better in many ways the body could have been slightly fuller, the carbonation could have been a bit more, the finish is long and bitter which is a good thing!
Overall: Definetly a very good beer! I didn’t expect this one to be so good to be honest, I really like the combination of fruits yeast and hops awesome :)
