Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 27, 2011
Bottle: Quack-Duck (9534) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 15, 2011
Very big vast white head on top of a hazy dark yellow to orange colored beer.
Smell hops, citrus, pine, pine apple, cactus, fresh hops, fruit and sweets.
Taste is a good mix of hops, fruit, citrus, pine, sweets, bitter, hints of wood, malts and spices.
Nice bitter hoppy fruity aftertaste.
Medium carbo, soft tingly light creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a light creamy texture.
For such a low alcohol containing ipa, this one is very good.
bottle, courtesy of Bierkoning! Cloudy orange-golden colour, large white head. Lovely grassy hop aroma. Light-bodied with a solid malty base, lots of grassy-resiny hops. Full of flavour. Incredible how full-flavoured this beer is at only 4.5%. Delicious, so hoppy, a real pleasure! Like digging into a heap of lovely hops! bierkoning (13739) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 30, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2013 Bottle, tasted 30 nov 2010, brewed @ De Molen. Orange blonde. Lovely aroma of grapefruit, oily hops, pineapple and melon. Oily hopbitter flavor with lemon, melon and pineapple. Thinnish with some yeasty notes. Resembles a good mix of De Molen Amerikaans and Engels, but perhaps more tart. Good!! 8 3 7 4 14 = 3.6
