2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
I bought a single can of this pale ale on a whim because of the name. It turned out to be not quite as good as I had hoped, having a sweet citrus taste but not much hops or overall balance and character.
Hazed golden color with a tallish white head. Decent lace. Pale grains and floral hops along with some resin candi scents. Tinny feel, I some how feel like I have a piece of metal in my mouth. Some wheat and grain flavors. Just not clean tasting to me. 5/11

Pours slightly cloudy gold with a tall, craggy , off-white head.
Scent is almost non-existent.....a little grass, a bit of malt and grain.
Taste is......well....like soap-rinsed-grain.
Rather metallic.....not enjoyable at all. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Can. Metallic grainy malt aroma. Hazy golden with a medium soapy off-white head. Just like is smells, metallic grainy malt flavor and a little grassy hops. LIght carbonated body. Blech. shrubber85 (11710) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Bottle. Light malt and citrus hops aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Stale barley malt and light citrus hops flavor. An ale that tastes like a pale lager.

16oz can from Armanetti’s. Pours a cloudy, orange-yellow colored body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is sweet pale malts, grain, and a touch of caramel with a very light floral and grass. Flavor is similar. Sweet pale malts up front with some grainy bread and a light caramel. A light grass and some floral fruits before this finishes a bit cloyingly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Short aftertaste following a light body and a medium-light, bubbly carbonation. Overall, a pretty weak APA. Not out of balance, but a bit cloying in the finish with barely enough of a hopping. Eh... Headbanger (4022) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - NOV 10, 2011
16oz can 11/10/11 (Binny’s Downers Grove)-46° in Lager Glass-Pours a slightly hazy orangish golden with a two finger white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, and malt. Taste of hops, malt, citus, grass, and grains. This medium bodied brew is not bad. I was expecting worse but a rather hot summer kinda day brew. kbutler1 (1382) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Can. Pours an ever so slightly hazed golden color with a white head that quickly settles. Bubblegum and banana in the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Sweet start with notes of a slight fruitiness. Really no hop presence to speak of. More sweet than anything. Not that good. twindadplus2 (743) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 14, 2011
16 oz. can. Color is a hazy yellow amber with a thin foamy white head. Sweet malt and grain aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Taste is slightly sweet malt with a bit of citrus and grassy hops. Light carbonation and light to medium bodied. Won’t win many awards but not a bad beer really. GhostFace (477) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 1, 2011
16oz tallboy can poured into a pint glass. Pours hazy/murky yellow. Smells more malty than hoppy even though hops are plastered on the can’s graphics. Tasted slightly metallic and oddly carbonated. This one wasn’t good at all..
