1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Faint nose is nigh-impossible to detect. Only aroma pts are for slight citrus and mild hops, but really, this should be a 1. Pale orange body with a rocky yet fizzled-out off-white head and strong visible carbonation. Watery body is bland and infused with a slight (grassy) stale bitterness. Disgusting little disappointment.
Golden pour from draft at berghoff in Ohare airport. Aroma of fruit and sweat. Tropical. Taste is mild hops and maybe some apricot and peach. Better than expected. Easy to drink ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2015
On tap in terminal C. Pours a clear light amber color with a tan had. The smell is earthy malt, mild caramel, fruity hops. The taste is as it smells with some dryness at the end. Light+ body with slightly less than average carbonation level. A mediocre pale ale. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 25, 2015

Aroma: The nose has some light hop notes, citrus, and some malt hints as well
Appearance: It pours a clear golden-orange color with a small head
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, light and okay, decent hop flavor, light malt backing
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, with an okay mouthfeel
There isn’t anything particularly wrong with this beer, it just isn’t too exciting. Okay beer, but not something I’d run (or even walk briskly) back for.
Draft in chicago airport. Poured a clear golden color. Fresh citrus floral hop aroma. Light caramel malts. Average carbonation. This is pretty good. Glad I found it.

Clean hop character without much excitement. Enjoyable enough though without any obvious flaws. csaso (2283) - Missouri, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Bottle - big foamy head, medium copper color, sweet malty aroma and flavor, mild earthy hops

Aroma is fruit/berries and earthiness. The flavor is fruit, mild sweetness and some bitterness in the finish. Too close to an EPA, better to classify it as one. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2012
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with about a finger of white head. Aroma of straw, grains and corn with a little citrus. Taste is about the same. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, just like every other Berghoff I’ve had, this beer is crap. I would call this a "Premium Lager" long before I called it an APA.

Like a dim member of a party, this one is just barely enough to keep things going. It’s nothing fantastic, and the only flavor I could pick up on was a sort of metallic-apple-sweetness. Yet, I still wanted to finish my glass of it. If it were a song, it would be called [shoulders raised] "Beers that make ya go ’ehhh.’"
