Bit hazy light amber color with no head. Looks like ice tea or whiskey with water. Lots and lots of malt in aroma, big caramel, some booze. Taste is heavy sweet, classic strong lager, caramel malt, sweet alcohol notes. Watery, soft carbonated. Drinkable. ectuohy27 (1272) - ESTONIA - JUL 21, 2016
Deserves a ton of points for creativity/ingenuity--it’s not really an ISL, but it defies easy categorization otherwise. Smooth, a bit thin on the palate, but the sugar and honey notes are present and palable, as is a distinct malty sourness throughout. Spices too. Unique! pours a clear golden with an immediately disappearing white head. aroma of spices, herbs, caramel malts, and alcohol. flavour of dried apricots, sweet apples, grains. rather sweet, oily mouthfeel, flat carbonation. not too bad for a ukrainian strong lager.
Some restaurant in Lviv: pour golden with a white head. Aroma is mostly augar with a bit of hops. Taste was mostly sweet with very little bitterness. What it lacked in taste it made up by being easy to drink and inoffensive. puredelusion (428) - Lviv, UKRAINE - JAN 18, 2015
0,5 bottle. Pours clear golden to orange colour with thin, quickly diminishing white head. Aroma of honey, hops, white wine, light bread, fruity notes. Interesting taste of white bread, honey of course (despite it is not positioned as spice/herb beer) and some alcohol. Light sweet and bitterness, balanced. Long aftertaste with some bitter and bready notes. Clear liquid, soft carbonation, medium body.

Вкусное пиво, жаль что не везде найдёшь. Rune (13658) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 20, 2013
500ml bottle, 6 % abv, bought from Gaute. Unclear orange coloured body to a firm, off-white head, dissipating after a while. Grainy fruits and some kind of spices on the nose. The flavour character can be described as freshly stewed fruits with emphasis of apricot added by wheat-like sweetness. Spiced bitter endnotes. Fine bodied. Fruity and refreshing. A pleasant surprise (Tromsø 18.10.2013). djoeye (5279) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2013
Бергшло& Живе Світле Пиво , Bergschloss Zhyve Svitle Pyvo, Mountain Castle Live Bright Beer, came to me as a 0,5L bottle, abv 6,0-6,1, and 14 1/2’ from a supermarket in Kremenchuk Ukraine. sinfull (1820) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Scents of spicy herbs and hints of apples.
Cream white head, low and very modest, soon invisible.
Amber body, different bubbles.
Tastes hops, bitter, malts, apples, some alcohol.
Feels well balanced in the mouth, but a bit over-spirited.
Aftertaste; smoked malt, bread, toffee, medium chocolate.
Conclusion is that it is overall a good beer, though a bit strong.
Deep golden color with decent lasting head.Sweet aroma of grain and honey. Taste is similar with light dirty fruits notes. Light bitterness in aftertaste. Interesting beer,
