Nice aroma, earth, pine, citrus, and a little underlying malt. Flowery bitter flavor, with lots of alcohol and bitterness in the finish. Good, but not great.
Has a resiny grapefruit influenced aroma. Hazy light range body with a moderate head that sticks to the glass a lot. Has a bold but friendly bitter taste. It balances well between sweet citrus and just as bold resin hoppiness. It’s a drinkable brew that is welcoming yet not just an everyday beer. I found it an excellent choice for beginners looking for something more than the ordinary, An excellent choice for newbies and veterans alike. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a white head from a bottle. Big citrus and even a little winey aroma. More of a tropical fruit flavor with some grapefruit. Very good beer. BeerGuy01803 (4) - Burlington, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 16, 2016 does not count
This is an excellent example of an East Coast Double IPA. Drinking this beer allowed me to time travel to a less hoppy flavor profile point in my career. The malt balances the bitterness nicely. I am not a hop hound, but this could easily become my daily driver. MaBeer1972 (2228) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Bomber from Wines & More Mansfield. Pours out a clear light amber with a frothy off-white head that settles to a thin lace. Big resinous pine-citrus-herbal aromas and flavor. Remarkably smooth drinking with well-balanced bitterness and sweetness. Gets better with each sip! johnnnniee (4486) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 31, 2015
On tap at The American Craft Beer Fest Yesterday.
Huge green grassy earthy raw hop aroma and flavor, not for me.
