Pours a medium-dark brown with a medium beige head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is like a coffee shop, moka and roasted beans. Taste is of chocolate, mokah and general coffee. No ash or any green pepper like in most coffee beers I’ve had so far, a good thing if you ask me. Body is medium and carbonation really high and prickly. Mouthfeel is a bit smooth but the heavy carbonation is a bit problematic, really. The beer would be even better I’m sure if they took it down a notch. Anyway, nice one! A complete surprise to me since I had no expectations whatsoever. two7offsuit (448) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 31, 2014

Draft at Positive Pie. Pours black with no head. Aroma of medium roast coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is the same with some mild floral notes. Rich and creamy, light/med body. Smooth chocolate finish. Excellent. apotekhin (79) - ISRAEL - SEP 30, 2014
Great balanced porter with very clear and smooth roasted coffee flavor. Very tasty and drinkable beer.

Roast coffee, fruit, and bread in the aroma. Strong, bittersweet coffee flavor with some cocoa and dark fruit. Bitter roast coffee finish. I haven’t always been impressed by other offerings from this brewery, but this is really good. ScipioA (405) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 26, 2014
Usual cola brown porter appearance. Roasted and fairly sweet with a deliciously thick mouthfeel. Solid stuff and reasonably priced. Only fault is I wished for a little more coffee presence. shaihulud (13) - Kentucky, USA - JUN 27, 2014
if you were to eat out a coffee bean, while getting a foot rub and asian school girls fanned you with giant leaves than you would get what this beer is like. This is the bee’s knees, the cream of the crop, the tits. AndyW68 (1542) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 21, 2014

From a bomber. Pours dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Tastes like roasted coffee beans, earth, bitter burnt toast, subtle sweet cocoa. Light body and low carbonation. Smells sweet roasted gains, light booze, earth, and dry cocoa.
