From the tap. Heavy nitro characters surprised me a bit; poured more like a stout with fine, thick head; lots of retention. Roasted coffee bean aroma, some vanilla. Sweet, dark malt taste with mild caramel to finish. Some lingering, but not heavy bitter coffee which is good.
Black with a tall tan head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts with some vanilla and light earth tones. Medium creamy body. Flavor follows the aroma with a higher amount of noticeable vanilla, but not annoyingly so- this is not a vanilla porter, thankfully. Good balance of sweetness with coffee. jrodooo5 (1672) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 30, 2017
A rather nice porter that isn’t over the top but doesn’t disappoint in any way either. Light coffee roast in both the aroma & throughout the taste. Has a pretty soft mouthfeel & overall is quite good! andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2017
Enjoyed on tap at Thirsty First in Lowell, MA while on a tour, unfortunately didn’t take tasting notes while I had this, but I remember this being very good, dry, and robust. Would have again. shawnmurphy (495) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - MAY 3, 2017
On tap at Barley House in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Pours opaque black with lacing. Aroma and flavor: caramel, coffee, licorice. Mouthfeel: light-bodied, watery. Quick3Beers (1234) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 3, 2017
Pours a nice brown black from a tap, aroma of light roasted aciic coffee beans is kind of washed out a bit in the mouth, a bit of nuts or chicory or something adding a not unpleasant non-coffee bitterness. Good beer.

Gifted to me luckily, and I’ve passed this by a hundred times. Dark brown pour with mocha head that fades. Aroma is excellent with both coffee and cocoa amid the roast. Flavor is similar and very well done. Just the right amount of coffee where others tend to overdo. Very smooth, never astringent, with creamy mouthfeel and not too thin for relatively low abv. Finishes fairly clean, leaving just a hint of bitter roast to wash away with the next sip. dlovell2 (2134) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 22, 2016

Bomber from DeBuca’s. Pours out a very dark brown with at lovely frothy tan head. Super rich with roasty-coffee notes. Velvety texture makes this extra special. Delicious! tapefuzz (528) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 15, 2016
Growler. Pours amber-brown with a small tan head. Strong coffee aroma. Taste is predominantly coffee with some roasted malt. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Moderately creamy mouthfeel. asheft (3082) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
On tap at Black Cow, Newburyport. Roasted barley and coffee aroma with some faint pine and earthy hops. Murky dark brown under a persistent, light brown blanket. Sweet mocha and bitter coffee liquor flavour with a balance towards sweet. Medium full body, slightly warming, smooth, moderate carbonation (on nitro).
