COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This American version of a traditional Bohemian Pilsner is a true lager, brewed to emulate the original style born in Plzen, Czechoslovakia. Berkshire uses authentic Pilsner floor malt from the Czech Republic in this classic beer. Light in color, our Pilsner is dry and crisp, and pungently hopped with Czech Saaz hops to impart a rich aroma, with a subtle bitterness to the finish.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Darien. Pouurs a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral and grassy hops and bready malts. The taste is grassy and floral with a pale malt finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

Certainly above replacement-level. Refreshing and crisp. Hop notes are mellow. Color is light. Drinkability is high. Overall, well done.

Pours a nice deep straw color with a two finger foamy head that sticks around for a bit. Bright crisp saaz hop aromas with hints of bready malts and traces of citrus. On the palate its smooth and refreshing with nice punches of bitterness balanced by round bready malts.

Thanks Jason for hauling this all the way to Italy! Appears a pale and clear yellow with a fluffy white head. Some nice lacing. Smells citrusy, crisp hops, light malt. Taste is a wonderful blend of hop crispness and light malt sweetness. Light body with nice carbonation and super smooth.

Boring pilsner with very muted hops and a classic pale malt. Finishes dry and a bit "corny" even though i doubt theres any corn in it. Needs a bit more hops and bitterness for my taste not bad.

Table and vine tasting, nothing and cardboard. Wow whatever man someone will drink it

damzz (494) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 26, 2012
light body, medium bitterness, golden, clear, frothy, white foam, bread, spruce, The Saaz hops come though in the nose but not overwhelming as in an IPA. The light maltiness is followed by the hops bitterness at the end in a nice balance. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, a reminder of how good this beer is.

rocbyter (2118) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - MAY 24, 2012
Light malt and strong grain aroma. Clear golden color with a small white head. Light sweet beginning with a light sweet finish.

4.1
Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 1, 2012
Pours copper/gold with a thick white head. Smells of saaz hops, crisp, dry pilsner malt, touches of apple. Tastes of dry malt, some spicy hints and some residual sweetness on the finish.
