22 ouncer. i detect a hint of tang on this beer in both aroma and flavor. It could be prunish or it could be raisony. I’d better have another one just to make sure! Very creamy and very good otherwise. I would buy this beer again.
Bottle: Dark with a tan head. Sweet choco aroma with a very sweet taste. I prefer porters that have the more smoky, charcoal profile. Still, not a bad beer. IndianaRed (4936) - Boise, Idaho, USA - APR 22, 2016
Bottle shared by PinkZambia Clear dark brown. Light roast aroma. Mostly light sweet roast malt flavors. Chocolaty and easy. Lacking the sour bite of many porters. Very tasty migwell (366) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 8, 2015
Another brew from the Pioneer Valley here in Western Massachusetts. There must be a dozen breweries in the valley now, as the Connecticut River meanders from the Vermont/New Hampshire border south to the sea. Berkshire is one of the oldest of these breweries. Drayman’s is, as many have pointed out, not an outstanding porter, yet a decent, palatable brew. Tastes mildly of coffee and chocolate, lightly malty and hoppy just a tad. Next time I want a porter, this one will do nicely. TATE (407) - Lubec, Maine, USA - MAY 17, 2015
On tap. Pours black with a tan head. Chocolate aroma that follows through in the taste. Some nuttiest too. Not to bold but a great overall porter. DiarmaidBHK (5657) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Bottle from Western Massachusetts convenience store. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Nice roasted malt on the nose. Nice creamy mouthfeel. solid malty roast on the tongue with some toffee notes and a hint of bitterness on the finish. Solid

On tap at Uno’s, Shelbourne, VT.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a slim bar pour’s kind of head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light stringy lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a super hefty amount of bitter coffee beans and balanced with a decent sweet molasses - esque, perhaps syrupy sort of dark fruits.
The taste took the bitter coffee and it came across fairly roasty. A semi-wet yet dark fruity aftertaste leads to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat subdued but still good for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good coffee porter. zvikar (6349) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - DEC 27, 2014

Very dark pour, persistent thin layer of tan head. Smell’s notes of coffee, malt, chocolate, brown sugar. Taste is similar. Coffee malt backbone. Finishes with roast/coffee possibly malt. kerenmk (5038) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 13, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at our place. Thanks Ariel. Black with tan head. Dryish malty aroma, like dry toast. Also dry in the mouth, good roastiness and dark fruit. Full-bodied, mildly carbonated with roasty finish. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 13, 2014
