Bottle. Very dark brown color, small beige head. Huge bourbon aroma. Taste has bourbon, vanilla. Not many beery characteristics left. Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 22, 2008
Hazy amber-red. Banana, fruity, some light toffee character. Soft, a little spritzy. There’s some barrel and alcohol towards the finish. Soft caramel is the main component, though. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 28, 2011

22oz bottle acquired in trade with CaptainCougar (thanks!). Poured a medium to deep ruby-red color with a large sized of white head. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, wood, earthy, and some caramel. Tastes of bourbon, vanilla, wood, caramel, and some nuts. I liked the bouron, woody, and vanilla in this. Alcohol content well hidden.

@dmacs UFC100 Gathering-I got as bonus in trade with mcox90, thanks–22oz bomber–pours a thin tan head and copper color. Aroma is bourbon, medium malt-caramel. Taste is bourbon, medium malt-caramel, dark fruit-cherry, alcohol, hops bite. Too much alcohol, too hot. Sammy (12210) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2008
Crushinat0r’s bottle from Julio’s. Dark, ruby coloured. Off-white head, and lacey. Corny sweetness, its boozy, not so drinkable, there is a coffee bitterness, and its mouthfeel is thinish. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 12, 2009
Pouring at the Brass City Brew Fest. This was the 07, aged in Jim Bean barrels. Pours a light hazy brown with a thin white head. Whiskey, vanilla, and wood on the nose along with some nice thick malt. Medium bodied, malty and lightly sweet. More whiskey and some light booze on the finish. This was pretty solid.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured clear muddy brown with a near brown head that dissipated rather quickly to the edge. Aroma had some bourbon notes with a bit of buttery scotch and sweet grains plus caramel. Flavor was similarly sweet with the caramel and scotch sticking out the most and a subtle backing bourbon note. hopscotch (11113) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 3, 2008
Bottle… O-Town Christmas Gathering ‘07… Cloudy caramel-colored ale with orange highlights and a small, creamy, off-white head. Great retention. Sweet bourbon and vanilla nose with lesser notes of caramel and toffee. Medium to full-bodied with restrained carbonation. The woodsy, vinous flavor features medium sweet-caramel and lightly bitter sourmash. Not overly boozy. Finishes sweet and earthy. Kudos to CaptainCougar for providing the samples!
