Actually liked this better by bottle than on tap. Unusual as it is I was comparing it with the Rotator Series Falconer IPA today and it paled in comparison and that is the best way to say it.
Appearance: 4.5 out of 5.00 Beautiful unfiltered appearance. Orange / Copper color... Golden hue.
Smell: Aroma of light citrus..
Taste: Not as hoppy as I would have expected. Very low bitterness for an IPA. Malty and frothy on the front with limited IPA taste more of a golden ale. Not hoppy. No alcohol bite. Maybe the English in English IPA comes from the breadiness of this ale.
Mouthfeel: Suprisingly dry. Does not have peppery or hoppy mouthfeel more of a sweetness which almost tastes skunked...
Overall: No major flaws but not the best of BBC. Its adequate and I would rate it well as Berkshire has not done me wrong in the past but this is not their finest product..
Golden brown pour, nice foamy off white tannish head. Woody aroma, with floral, yeasty, and apple notes. Flavor is floral and lemony, quite bitter and tart. A bit thin. slowrunner77 (11912) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 14, 2017
Maltier and earthy, as an English IPA should be...just not my bag, really. They always come off a touch stale unless brewery fresh, and this is no exception. Ratman197 (14668) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2016
Bomber poured a clear tarnished gold with a small lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of caramel, bread, earthiness and light graininess. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, bread and earthiness with a smooth dry moderately bitter finish. Headbanger (3990) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - NOV 10, 2016
22oz bottle 11/10/16 (Kappy’s-Medford)-38° in Shaker-Pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of malt, hops, citrus, and grains. This light bodied brew is a bit lacking. tfontana (950) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 19, 2016
UPDATED: MAR 27, 2016 Can pour into nonic pint glass from Epsom Circle Market. Aroma is mix of citrus over malty bread backbone. Appearance is cloudy gold with a fair amount of sediment in suspension, even without pouring out the last sixth of the can. No head, only white ring and minimal lacing, occasional large bubble. Taste is moderately sweet malt base with mild citrus--a little bit like unfinished wort. Palate is medium bodied with sticky texture and lively carbonation (a little sting). Overall, I think this may have gone over a bit, which may alter aroma/taste, so will look to re-rate in the future. Either way, the appearance really detracts from the overall experience. Better to just drink it out of the can so you never have to look at it.

Pretty dark amber into glass. Big big webby/crochet lacing. Large uneven bubbles. Smells of muddy/earthy wet hops and dark grains. Palate more of the same, overly bitter and sloppy. This is not good, what is wrong with everyone? The_Osprey (7881) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2015
Cask at GBBF. Hazy orange, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is pithy orange, floral, some syrupy sweet toffee. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is sweet tangerine, straw, hoppy bitter finish. Decent. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 23, 2015
At Great British Beer Festival 2015, Day 2. Clear golden beer with a small offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, citrus, grapes, hay, pine apples, some peach. Fruity hop flavor, grassy, citrus, hay, floral, some peach. ElManana (2079) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - AUG 17, 2015
