This is a bock beer I find too sweet. It has a taste of chocolate malt, brown sugar, hard toasted malt and a little nuts. In addition, it tastes a bit of raisin, sweat and dried berries. Unfortunately, it has an excessive sweetness, which in the long run seems to be composed of artificial sweeteners.

Bottle from a Kreutzberg corner shop. Really warming alcohol, some toasted black bread, but nothing special. You can't expect more from a 0.89 euro priced industrial beer.

2.8
Grumpelmies (436) - GERMANY - NOV 27, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2017 Bottle. Dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of malts, red fruits and Coca Cola. Taste is very sweet upfront, malty, fruity with a little bit of liquorice, some chocolate and Coca Cola again. Bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Despite my rather low rating I kind of enjoyed it and probably would drink this quite regularly if I was living in Berlin.

bursprak (3284) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 31, 2016
Bottle @ Christmas eve thanks to my dad in law. Murky brownish pour with a frothy head. Notes of light roast, estery, chocolate, cocoa and some fruity notes.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2016
Bottle in Germany. Aroma of caramel, some grains, sugary malts and licorice. Flavor is quite sweet, slightly bitter and with a strange dry finish. Boring bock.

Marduk (8830) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 2, 2016
500ml (random place, Berlin). Clear dark chestnut color. Small size, yellow head, stays. Sweet, caramel, raisins in aroma. Not much of aroma. Sweet, caramel, bit metallic in taste. Caramel and sweet in aftertaste. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Nice one.

FatPhil (17511) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 1, 2016
500ml bottle (Random corner shop, Germany)
Rich sweet malty aroma, a bit almondy. Deep red, nice tight head. Sweet malty taste, pleasant gentle roast. Very full palate, smooth and sweet, pleasant carbonation. Kinda simple, but very drinkable. Finish has a very subtle nutty bitter tingle. I enjoyed it, despite its simplicity.
