UPDATED: FEB 2, 2006 clear and bright golden colour, little white head; fresh herbal aroma; full-bodied, slightly tart and very bitter; long and dry bitter herbal finish - a very good pils ElGaucho (2401) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - JAN 11, 2003
Surprisingly good aroma and appearance for a beer out of a can. Aroma similar to German Helles I had on draft while in Berlin. Huge, white, creamy head; mostly lasting. Sparkling gold body, similar to champagne. Good lace. Has a bit of the harsh finish that pasteurized lagers contain, but still pretty decent. A lot better than the generic pilsners we get in the States.

Bottle: Crisp, clean, herbal and refreshing; nice subtle bitternes. Food Pairing: Leberkäse. drpimento (3670) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 18, 2009
got this bottle around the corner from my Hotel Artist Riverside, Mitte, Berlin.in outdoor cooler at a kiosk on the street. Poured with a big white foamy fluffy head and lots of lace. Color is a bright clear yellow gold. Aroma was immediately skunky over grain, malt, hops, and a little spice. Flavor left the skunk behind - and turned out pretty good! Real as a matter of fact. Just enough malty sweetness to be alluring with just enough hoppy bitterness to balance and keep it clean and satifying. Big barley grain finish with some hops. Definitely a session. nazzty (1376) - Ödåkra - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - NOV 29, 2012
Good beer with a nice, crisp bitterness and round malt flavor. Fairly long finish. macio_men (170) - Warszawa, POLAND - SEP 10, 2014
Niestety, pite prosto z butelki, więc nie mogę ocenić wyglądu. Przeciętny aromat. Świetnie skomponowane. Goryczka idealnie łączy się z pełnym smakiem. Gary (1999) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2010
my glass was a bling of golden sunsets of a june the 6th summers everning...with creamy clouds as its beer head.
I like this kinda Pils because its subtle in its effervesence . crisp, dry and malty .
Lotta grainy maltiness ,with that honey texture from the malt that I often detect in Pils’s. Woodiness ,like pencil shavings is nice in the raspy dryness . This beer is a tad waxy on the tounge. Some haystacks and late spice in the fin’.
