On tap at Uncle Paya. Can’t remember anything much about this beer except that it was a fairly acceptable substitute for the half-half I unsuccessfully tried to order with my poor Czech.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2017 0.3 draft @ Café Louvre  Very dark brown with a large, creamy, latte-colored head. Aroma of caramel, coffee, and DMS. Taste brings in more vanilla-like flavors though coffee and DMS remain strong. Medium, creamy, soft. Overall quite good for a commercial brew.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is butter slight herbs. Taste is smooth roasty bitterness with sweet malty butter. A bit rough on the tongue.

This a pretty solid brew. It’s rather dark brown w/ a thin head of off-white foam. It is smooth and clean w/ a hint of roast and cocoa along w/ a mild cherry fruity note. I think I might make this for a schwartzbier if you pressed me--tho it’s not quite that roasty. This is definitely one you could drink in quantity if you’re a fan of the style.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Hihetetlen jól csúszik! Kávés illat és íz, karamellás hab, íze karakteres, szinte robban a szájban

Bardzo przyzwoita propozycja ciemnego lagera. Kolor ciemnobrązowy, niemal czarny. Piana obfita, beżowa, całkiem trwała. W aromacie przyjemne nuty czekoladowe, kawowe. W smaku lekkie, z nutami czekolady i kawy. Słodkawe, przyjemne!

Pours a black body with a beige frothy head. Aroma is malty and grainy with little peppery note. Taste is nicely roasty without being too sweet. I find that this type of beer usually is very Watery and boring, but this is neat.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, a bit earthy, rusty nail. Taste is the same, with a distinct nuttiness. Comparably high carbonation. Nice Cerny!
