Amber Lager

Bottle 500 ml
Aroma lighter tone for dark lager , fresh light with hints of hops. Slight mineral notes with sugars.6+
Appearance dark amber-brown with medium , rather short lived head. Still neat contrast. 3-
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. This beer has exceptional texture paired with good depth. Top made of gently approaching hop bellow woody hint followed by brown sugars. Overall drier than expected. Has slight bitter edge to it. Pleasant solid brew.
Earlier Rating: 2/28/2005 Total Score: 3.9
Light brown hue, average head. Sweet malty aroma - nice and refreshing. Good mouthfeel, smooth, refined dunkel. Good balance preserved. One of better dunkels around. Kraft beer.

A Mes rate: Keg at GBBF.
Brownish colour with a thick beige head. Straight forward caramel malt stuff with a faint bitterness in the finish. Uneventful but clean and drinkable.

Draught at Svejk, Stockholm 2003. This is my kind of beer! Chestnut brown with a rich, off-white head. A lot of malty bread and toffe in both aroma and flavour. Really smooth palate.

Gurthnar (5865) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 21, 2012
Bottle. Big offwhite head, quickly disappearing. Clear amber to medium brown colour. Aroma hops, light touch of roasted malt and caramel. Taste medium roasted bitter nicely combined with somewhat light hoppiness, light caramel sweet. Finish is roasted dry light bitter. Nice beer, though nothing exceptional. Just a hint of coffee ind aroma and taste as it warms up a bit.

Christos (5781) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 3, 2017
(Bernard Jantarový Ležák 12° / Amber Lager) Swing top bottle 500ml at Parga, Greece. Deep amber colour on the body, clear, with a tall but thin tan head on top, low retention. Not much of an aroma, faint caramel and toffee, some red fruits. Taste has toasted malts, red fruits, caramel and toffee. Mildly bitter on the finish. Medium body, carbonation on the low side. Not bad.
