COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber Lager
Bernard’s Amber Lager is a unique half-dark lager produced by an original brewing recipe of the Barnard’s Family Brewery. The light caramel-type malt endows this beer with a balanced bitter taste, fine toffee aroma, and full body. It is an unpasteurized beer enriched with yeast during bottling.

Soft carbonated. Everthing about this beer is in balance; quite a clear taste. Roasted aroma, light bitterness, also very faint sour component is noticable. Dry aftertaste. Dark amber colour, small head. Very drinkable.

nicksnac (3) - ¯ory, POLAND - AUG 9, 2017 does not count
One of my first degustated Czech Beers. It has a amber color, rocky head, white foam, and a very nice caramel aroma. For me, it was a light beer, one of that beer’s that you can drink 3 or 4.

Ritzn (1534) - GERMANY - AUG 6, 2017
As Bernard rezane. Clear bronze with little beige head. Aroma is stale hops dust and slight malt herbs. Taste is slightly sweet buttery with lots of dusty starchy bitter malt. Drinkable in quantities but thats it.

Jako jo, není to žádné špatné pivo, nicméně tomu chyběl nějaký vetší říz, který by rozhodně bodl. Jemné pivo se slabší vůní ale masivnější pěnou.

3.1
Christos (5855) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 3, 2017
(Bernard Jantarový Ležák 12° / Amber Lager) Swing top bottle 500ml at Parga, Greece. Deep amber colour on the body, clear, with a tall but thin tan head on top, low retention. Not much of an aroma, faint caramel and toffee, some red fruits. Taste has toasted malts, red fruits, caramel and toffee. Mildly bitter on the finish. Medium body, carbonation on the low side. Not bad.
