Authentic Czech pils at the Euston Tap, London? Hell yeah. Beautiful billowing golden pour, with a nice thick capper on it. Soft hops before the spice, and a nice biscuity dryness too. Prickly, touch of citrus, but mostly the long, dry, peppery finish you want from the style. Not world class but damn fine. anders37 (26251) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2012
Draft @ Bishops Arms Gustav, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a sweetish malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy weak grassy flavor. Fruity malty grainy hoppy finish. rarbring (2294) - Linköping, SWEDEN - NOV 8, 2012
Aroma: The smell is light, green grass and a "hoppiness".Pyrmir (5984) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 7, 2012
Appearance: The beer is almost clear deep golden and copper toned, a white solid head leaving good lacing.
Taste: A sweet, pure sugar and white bread, start, a general fresh somber fruitiness, apples and rhubarbs, green grass and good bitterness.
Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, smooth texture, a light and fresh body, a soft dry finish.
Overall: An easy to drink and well balanced pilsener, very soothing.
Note: On-tap at Soldaten Svejk. Reviewed 2011-06-17.

Bottle. Despite "unfiltered" stated on bottle, colour is clear golden. Medium white head, rather quickly disappearing. Not much to say about the aroma. Initially some generic hops, after a short while it goes away and aroma stays malty. Taste is almost medium hoppy bitter. Finish is probably best thing about this beer. Long and hoppy. The KEG version is many times better, rerate to come. Svesse (8580) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 9, 2012
(Draught at U Kocoura, Prague, 26 July 2012) Hazy golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of grass, hay, a touch of citrus, toffee and herbal hops. Malty taste with bread, grass, hay, toffee and a distinct grassy, herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, solid and very nice Bohemian pilsener. Keg. Golden, foamy white head. Smell of sweet malts, corn. Tastes of sweet bread, corn, straw, metal. JorgeLee (2093) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2012
Tap in the Holborn Whippet. This was a glorious pint of pilsener, well balanced, rich mouthfeel, good strong hopping and most importantly tasted super fresh. Pilseners seem so sensitive to freshness, don’t know what it is about the style but the minute it gets past its peak they become flat or vegetabley, and if you bottle them it gets metallic. This was one of the best pints of lager I’ve had, I reckon.
